Technology watchdogs got a treat today when Nexus 5 made its first fully branded official appearance on US Playstore. The handset pricing appears to be from $349 which is mostly likely to be for 16GB version (no 8GB version for Nexus 5 according to leaks)

Folks at android police got the better view of this handset as persented above
Yes this handset looks the same as we have seen earlier in Android KitKat video, with large & significantly identifiable Camera sensor (with Image stabilization I guess) & along the length Nexus branding, ofcourse with LG logo at the bottom. Build looks sturdy & mostly polycarbonate or rubberized. Its considerably thick (as compare to Nexus 4 with delicate glass back)

Screen-Shot-2013-10-17-at-6.20.58-PM-730x365 The Next Web posted this screenshot of playstore, in which nexus 5 was shown but inactive (click leads no-where) Which was pulled down immediately in few minutes. Tagline clearly runs around the camera awesomeness (may be as promised by Vic Gundotra in Feb 2013 on G+) No words about specifications there, but leaks lead to a sight bump over Nexus 4 specs with Snapdragon 800 (2.3Ghz Quad-Core), 2GB RAM, 16 & 32 GB versions, with much anticipated 4G LTE, NFC (ofcourse) & more powerful battery around 2350 or 2400 mAh, with 8 MP camera (possibly with OIS, thanks to that large sensor). Even at price like 350 USD it looks like a deal-to-steal.

Another thing is it gives a fresh new look at Android Kay Lime Pie KitKat. Gone is that black background to the onscreen buttons & new fresh icons everywhere. Overall its less of a black than JB. Apps button got a blur background & hangout is seen prominently instead of SMS (much rumored SMS integration with Hangout might be real soon)

Google loves to offer smart clues, may be the same with Nexus 5 & Android Kitkat. Kitkat G+ page posted few clues about when it will be launching, much of them are leading towards 18 (Today) or 28 October. Will bring you updates here.
